Swansea castle lies also in the city centre and dates back to the twelve hundreds. Although there are not much left of the original remains, it is still well worth a visit. The castle is floodlit in the evening.

Oystermouth castle is located in the Mumbles, near Swansea. It dates back to the twelfth century, and founded by William De Londres. Later in the thirteenth century, it was the home of the Braoses, as well as Swansea castle.
